DMCA & Copyright

Last updated October 27, 2026

We respond to valid takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent laws. This page explains the process for both sides.

Filing a notice

Send your notice to support@videotextremove.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice". To be actionable it must include all of the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed
  • The URL or task id of the material you want removed, specific enough for us to locate it
  • Your name, address, telephone number and email
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for them
  • Your physical or electronic signature

What happens next

We acknowledge valid notices within two business days, remove or disable access to the material, and notify the account holder. Repeated infringement leads to account termination.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court. We may restore the material 10–14 business days after forwarding your counter-notice, unless the original complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive more than two valid notices are terminated. Credits on terminated accounts are not refunded.
