Acceptable Use Policy

This tool removes pixels. Whether you are allowed to remove them is a separate question, and it is the one this page answers.
You must own the footage
Upload only video you created, or video you have written permission to edit. If a client owns the footage, get their instruction in writing before you run a job.
Watermarks and attribution
Removing a watermark, handle or credit from content you do not own is prohibited. So is removing attribution that a licence requires you to keep — including stock preview marks and Creative Commons attribution overlays.
Removing your own watermark, or one a client asked you to remove from their footage, is fine.
Prohibited uses
Do not use the service to create material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that sexualises minors. Do not use it to disguise the origin of content for fraud, to evade platform moderation, or to misrepresent someone else’s work as your own.
Do not attempt to bypass credit limits, scrape the service, resell access without a Business plan, or probe the API for vulnerabilities without written permission.
Enforcement
We review reports of misuse. Depending on severity we may remove content, suspend the account, or terminate it. Deliberate infringement results in termination without refund, and we cooperate with rights holders who file valid complaints.
Reporting abuse
If you believe your content has been processed through this service without permission, email support@videotextremove.com with the task URL or a description. We respond to valid reports within two business days.
